Boilersuits – Hot in more ways than one.
Problem: I find putting together an outfit really bloody hard each morning.
Solution: You need a boilersuit.
Yep. You heard it correctly. The boilersuit is officially back. That all-in-one, ridiculously easy to throw on, loose, comfortable boilersuit is back. And we couldn’t be happier.
We love the chambray-denim styles and the khaki military styles in particular. For super-easy styling, cuff the bottoms and roll up the sleeves to give the suit a more casual, easy-going feel. Then add your favourite sneakers or tie-up sandals or if you are heading out for the night, a beautiful pair of heels and a clutch. And you’re done.
STYLE WARNING : Make sure the suit is oversized and drop-waisted. A snug-fitting boilersuit can easily miss the mark.
There is only one teensy-tiny problem (if it is indeed a problem) and that is we live in a climate quite opposite from the boilersuit’s home territory, the UK. Although we will get a few perfect boilersuit days later on in the year, most of the time it can be a bit flippin’ stifling. Fear not, we’ve got you covered Southern Hemisphere.
We’ve picked our favs from the stores and on-line in the lightest, coolest fabrics and styles so you can jump on this trend too. You’re welcome.
